Storm Water Utility Fee

Storm Drain Utility Fee

The Millcreek City Council approved the imposition of a storm drain utility fee on June 22, 2020, to provide funding to address inadequate and failing storm drain and water quality infrastructure. The city has contracted with Rocky Mountain Power to bill residents, businesses and institutions on behalf of Millcreek starting in August 2020. The fee is based on the amount of impervious area (roads, sidewalks, parking lots, roofs, etc.) on the property. For credit eligibility and to learn more, please see Section 10 of Millcreek's Stormwater Fee Policy at Millcreek.us/177/stormwater. Questions can be directed to Millcreek Public Works at 801-214-2700 or by email at stormdrainfee@millcreek.us

St. Mark's Hospital Groundbreaking

St. Mark's Hospital Groundbreaking

Groundbreaking took place on April 23, 2021 for construction of the new patient tower at the MountainStar St. Mark's Hospital, located at 1200 E and 3900 S in Millcreek.  We are fortunate to have this world class hospital in our City. It provides exceptional patient care to our residents and to people throughout the Intermountain West.

The new patient tower, scheduled for completion at the end of 2023, will allow the hospital to increase the size of patient rooms while continuing to provide the wide variety of medical services for which it is known.

Event Updates

The Millcreek Business Council held two successful events at the end of April.

Earth Day- On April 24 the Millcreek Business Council hosted a cleanup at Scott Ave Park. We had over 40 people attend the event. Each volunteer helped remove trash and other debris, which effects our water quality. A big thanks to all who participated in beautifying Scott Ave Park!

Critical Needs Blood Drive-The Millcreek Business Council hosted a critical needs blood drive at Millcreek City Hall. We had an overwhelming response with 42 units of blood collected!
