City Seeks Restaurateurs for New Public Market

Millcreek City Hall is well on its way! You may be able to see the cranes, elevator shafts, and general excitement as you drive past Millcreek Common. Our new city hall is going to be a hub of community activity when it is opened for business in August of 2023. It will be the new headquarters for all Millcreek City staff, Millcreek’s police precinct, and (more exciting to some) a ground floor Public Market with a restaurant and café!

Millcreek is now seeking RFPs (Requests for Proposals) for the new café and concept kitchen going in on the bottom floor of City Hall. These new spaces will be located right next to the already popular Millcreek Common skating ribbon and down the hall from the upcoming 10,250-sf public market area. These state-of-the-art facilities will become a gathering place for our Millcreek community.

Is YOUR business a great fit for the new café or concept kitchen in City Hall? Reach out to Moira Gray on our Economic Development team at mgray@millcreek.us or visit our website here for more information!

Promise Program Volunteering Opportunity

The Millcreek Promise Program is building an outdoor classroom on July 15th and 16th at Millcreek Elementary, and would love to have some volunteers. On the 15th they will need people who either have or are comfortable with power tools to put together the foundations of the garden boxes. On the 16th they will need help putting together the garden boxes and finishing the classroom.

Congratulations, Pentara!

Pentara, a healthcare statistical consulting company, had a fabulous ribbon cutting last week to celebrate paying off their building. Councilmember Bev Uipi was there with the family to cut the ceremonial ribbon, celebrating this new era. Check them out here!
