Evergreen Junior High STEM Night 2024

Join us for the Evergreen Junior High STEM Night fundraiser! Hosted by Evergreen Junior High, this donation-based event will benefit the Evergreen TSA Chapter. Your generous donations will help finance a spectacular drone light show at the STEM Night, as well as purchase t-shirts for students who will be running the event. Your support will allow us to host this event at no cost to the public, which will impact our students' STEM education and experience. Consider sponsoring one of our 20+ booths for $100, or even having your logo featured on the t-shirts and in the drone light show for $1000. Every donation, big or small, makes a difference in empowering our future STEM leaders. Thank you for being a part of this exciting night of science, technology, engineering, and math!

Read Across America Day

Image from United Way to promote Read Across America Day (RAAD)

United Way of Salt Lake’s annual Read Across America Day (RAAD) is this Saturday, March 2, and we need your help purchasing books to stock home and classroom libraries. This year, your donation’s impact will double thanks to a $15,000 match from David Kelby Johnson Memorial Foundation!

Last year, UWSL partnered with 26 schools across the Wasatch Front on reading and literacy activities led by 340 volunteers, with 4,900 books donated to stock classrooms and school libraries.

Together, let’s ensure a love of reading reaches even more students! Donate to RAAD and help more students get their hands on books and improve their literacy skills.

Millcreek Miracle - Tell Your Business's Story!

Has your business been involved with the community and given back in some way? Have you sponsored an event that supports the community or supported a nonprofit organization?

The Millcreek Miracle wants to promote these stories to the community and encourage the community in return to shop local. It's wonderful to support a business who supports their community. Miracles happen in a community when people, businesses and causes come together to make a difference.

Zions Bank recently hosted the Lights On Event here in Millcreek! They brought in students from the Utah School for the Deaf and Blind to decorate their tree in their bank's lobby! They provided the students with art supplies, refreshments including cookies and Capri Suns, and had the children visit with Milo the Millcreek Moose! The children loved the event and we thank Zions Bank for being involved with the community in this light-hearted, meaningful, and fun way. (Millcreek and Zions Bank received permission from all guardians of the students to post this photo to external communications.)
