ECONOMIC WELLBEING VISION:
100% of all Millcreek residents have economic stability in an equitable and inclusive local economy. As measured by the Utah Healthy Places Index data on the percentage of Millcreek residents at or above 200% of federal poverty level.
COALITION PROGRAMS & RESOURCES:
- Granite Credit Union and Millcreek Promise Banking Partnership – A program designed to promote banking among under-and-unbanked residents. Granite Credit Union will offer $100 to anyone who opens a checking and savings account with them. Go to any Granite Credit Union branch to sign up!
- USU-Extension Empowering Financial Wellness Program for Millcreek residents – Quarterly virtual personal finance classes offered exclusively to Millcreek residents. Next -Class is April 9th at Noon via Zoom - Register online!
- Tech ON Millcreek digital skills courses – beginner and intermediate courses taught by the Economic Wellbeing Coordinator at City Hall and other locations across the city. Sign up for a course.

Economic Wellbeing Coordinator: Collyn Mosquito
Collyn Mosquito has worked as the Promise Economic Wellbeing Coordinator for Millcreek since June of 2022. In this role, Collyn assists and staffs the City’s Economic Wellbeing Coalition, a coalition of passionate people from local businesses, nonprofits and the community, all working together to build the economic stability of every Millcreek resident. Collyn also provides housing and resource navigation services, teaches digital skills courses, and facilitates personal finance classes and banking services. During his down time, you can find Collyn playing with his daughter, working in the yard, building Lego sets, and watching crime shows.
