Millcreek is releasing their annual scholarship for seniors in high school on March 16th! These scholarships are awarded to two students at each of the high schools that serve Millcreek students: Olympus, Skyline, Cottonwood, and Utah International Charter School. Each student will be rewarded with $1,000 which can help with tuition, to purchase books, or anything else that is needed for their post-secondary journey.
Once known as Promise Scholars, this scholarship name is being changed to Silvestrini Scholars to honor Millcreek’s first Mayor by changing the name to Silvestrini Scholars. Jeff Silvestrini was Millcreek’s first Mayor and created the Promise Program. He had a vision that all residents of Millcreek felt a sense of belonging and community. His work and dedication for Millcreek will forever be appreciated and remembered.
